The aroma of freshly brewed coffee when you walk past a coffee shop is breath-taking and I always have to control myself from walking in and ordering a Mocha or a latte my weakness.This is purely because I’d feel guilty for all the calories I have consumed whilst indulging in these creamy hot beverages especially when you are faced with a variety of seasonal flavours as ‘ options. This is my personal take on a home-made Mocha which is very low in calories but full of flavour.
Slimming World Syns: 2 (excluding Milk), milk can be used as HEA otherwise count as syn
1 Sachet or serving of Cadburys Highlight hot chocolate
1 Tsp Coffee
50ml Semi Skimmed Milk
1/2 Tsp Sweetner
Less than 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1. In a jug, mix hot chocolate, coffee and hot water and stir until dissolved.
2. Stir in milk, cinnamon and sugar.
3. Transfer into blender cup and blend (using cross blade) for a half a minute.
4. Pour into a tall cup or mug and serve.
It’s a simple but indulging hot drink that gives you that chocolate kick with a hint of cinnamon.
