Drinks (bottomless):

  • Masala Chai ( Loose Kenyan leaf Tea brewed the traditional way with homemade Tea Spice)
  • Selection of Teas
  • Mulled Wine

Savoury:

  • Handvo (A classic Gujarati savoury cake made with lentils and rice, Served with chutney)
  • Vegetable Vol Au Vents (Vol au vent pastry filled with samosa spiced vegetables served with tamarind chutney).
  • Bateta Vada served with chutney (Traditional spiced Indian potato patties given a modern twist by adding paneer and cashew nuts )
  • Sundried tomato and Pesto wreath bread (Homemade pesto and cumin seed bread served with cheese, homemade apple chutney and cranberry chutney)

Sweet:

  • Festive Scones served with Cinnamon cream or Brandy infused homemade sweet mince.
  • Cranberry and Almond Nankhatai (Indian spiced shortbread with nutty almond and tangy cranberries)
  • Spiced Chocolate and Orange Cake ( Xmas special, rich and decadent chocolate orange cake infused with festive spices covered with a creamy chocolate butter cream )

Any profits made on this day will be donated to  Hillingdon Autistic Care Society. A charity founded by parents with children on the Autistic Spectrum, they have supported me since my son was diagnosed with Autism.

Savoury:

  • Thepla served with Sambharo ( Spiced Gujarati flat breads served with a warm Gujarati salad of carrots, cabbage and mango tempered with mustard seeds)
  • Sooji Dhokla served with a selection of chutney’s ( steam cooked soft and fluffy savoury semolina cakes tempered in curry leaves, mustard seeds, coconut and coriander)
  • Bateta Vada served with chutney (Traditional spiced Indian potato patties given a modern twist by adding paneer and cashew nuts )
  • Sundried tomato, mature cheddar and cumin seed bread (West country cheddar combined with  sundried tomatoes and aromatic cumin seeds in a soft crumb loaf served with butter dip)
  • Chutneys: Coriander and coconut, Tamarind and Date and Red chilli and Garlic.

Sweet:

  • Scones served with Cinnamon cream and homemade berry jam
  • Gulab Jamun cupcake (A light sponge delicately infused with natural rose and warm cardamom, covered in whipped rose butter cream and garnished with vibrant pistachios and fragrant dried rose petals)
  • Pistachio and coconut Lemon posset served with Nan katai ( Traditional British dessert combined with crunchy pistachios and coconut, finished with white chocolate and served with traditional Indian butter cookies infused with warm sweet spice)
  • Orange and Chai spiced Macaron ( Orange infused macaron filled with tea spice ganache)
  • Chocolate tarts ( homemade rich butter pastry tarts filled with chocolate ganache and fruit)
